Default 2012 Precedent Accelerator Stuttering Troubleshooting

I have an Electric 2012 Club Car Precedent. It recently started to hesitate or decel when driving. Due to age and symptoms I replaced the MCOR 3 with MCOR 4 and adapter cables. Now it is worse and barely runs at all it stutters immediately both in forward and reverse. If you barely press on the accelerator it will run but at a snails pace. I need help trouble shooting as I thought the MCOR replacement would do the trick. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Paul

Have you checked the speed sensor and magnet.

No I have not. I didn't think to for two reasons, one after replacing the MCOR is was drastically worse and eventually did not move at all, secondly reading other posts about speed sensors it seemed all the responses involved sluggish to slow speed and not any bucking hesitation issues. I know how to get to the speed sensor, but how do I test it to see if it needs to be replaced or cleaned?

Batteries are a good point and where did you buy the conversion kit?

Batteries are 2013 and last time I checked them the voltages were good. The conversion kit was off amazon, although the old MCOR3 had the similar issue of hesitation, but it would sometimes stop and work well for weeks then rear its head again until it got to the point where it was unusable. All indications were that the MCOR contact seemed to have worn down in areas thus the move to change it out. I was going to put the old MCOR back in an see what happens. Trying to figure out the order of troubleshooting.

The eBay/Amazon clones are usually Chinese junk right out the box and notorious for failing or DOA.

7 year old batteries are definitely a place to be checking. You should have 50.9v 12 hours after the charge cycle completed.

What is the battery voltage under load...7 year old batteries have probably outlived their useful life ..Put a meter on each battery and floor it and see what the voltage drops too...Stuttering is a classic bad battery symptom..Not saying that is your problem but that's where I would start...

I checked each battery and they voltages are low 7.8 to 8.0 Volts. So that is less than 50% in some cases. I disconnected all series leads check and added water if needed and started to charge each individually and see what happens.
