Wow, dude you went DEEP on this mod! I hope you get it where you want it. Skills like this and you'll rule the new, battery op world.

And it is getting deeper! I'm already saving up for an aftermarket motor!

Tuning the controller is very easy. Even though I really don't know the implications of each variable change, it takes seconds to do it and test. It is really on the fly tuning. scottyb got me to a baseline and after getting the right motor map loaded (I actually have an AMD and not a GE), performance has been nothing short of phenomenal!

Overall, the conversion was a piece of cake even with my moderate skills and tools. With the Lithium pack in place, working under the seat is like working on a 1966 327 Chevelle. There is so much room under the hood, you can climb inside and get to everything easily. Seriously, the hardest part of this upgrade was having the balls to commit and coming up with an extra $900 over the cost of a good set of 8v batteries.

I can't wait to get another cart to do this conversion all over again. However, instead of Alltrax controller, I'd love to do an AC drive system with a 72 or 96V Lithium pack. Who said this is not an addiction?

So what's it like going up hills? Are you powering up them, or is the hill winning?

Please don't talk like that.
I was almost gettin over doing a lithium conversion and now I see this.
I'm going to have to go to 6 months of golf carts anonymous meetings to get over this.

I hit 21 on level ground, 24 going down and 18 going up. However, I was at 21 when I hit the hill. Starting from a dead stop even in Crazy Larry mode I struggled to get 16 on the steepest hill. I could barely hit 8 before.

Don't fight it, man. Just accept that you have an addiction.
