Re: 1st Cart: PCX-956 SHUTTLE
I started a thread for all things PCX-950s if you guys want to post anything in there. Hoping if we can get everybody in one place, we can start to compile some more info on these things, since there isn't a ton out there in any one place.

Re: 1st Cart: PCX-956 SHUTTLE
Small update: I managed to move my rear springs mounting point and put in some newer style Ezgo HD springs. I still need to get the newer style shocks fab up a mounting point on the upper spring plate. This cart came with hub caps and had one tire on a 4x4 pattern, the rest were the 5 lug style. I changed them all to a 4x4 pattern and fitted up the wheels and tires, now I need spacers at least for the rear. And I’m waiting on some more all thread to finish bolting on the new lift kit.
All and all Im happy the rear sits about 1.5 inches higher than the front but it doesn’t have batteries in in or anything. I can always raise the side I need with a couple of longer spring shackle. Since these carts are heavy I was thinking of going to lithium, and doing and doing a 48 volt system. Any know if 7 Nissan Leaf batteries will be enough? |

Re: 1st Cart: PCX-956 SHUTTLE
Managed to move forward on this project a bit. I found some LED headlights and mounted them, made a bracket for the back to hold a cooler under the rear seat and fabricated some hip guards for the rear seats and covered the rear seats in vinyl. I also painted it black but will probably have to go back and repaint.

Re: 1st Cart: PCX-956 SHUTTLE
No decision on a motor yet. I am leaning towards one that is not completely torque related. I south Florida doesn’t have hills to worry about. But I would like to go over 20 mpg. But I know it’s going to be a bit difficult with a big cart and 23 inch tires. I am also looking into putting in a reversing contractor to eliminate all that wire.

This the cooler? I'm almost certain by looking at the measurements on the lid. https://www.amazon.com/Igloo-Marine-...8941355&sr=8-7
