G1 will not go fwd or rev
I have a Yamaha g1. The generator/starter will go forward and reverse but the primary clutch won't close up and turn. The starter seems to be turning fast enough. Actually it caught once and went into fwd but when I stopped that was it. Any help will be appreciated.

Sounds like the starter is turning, but the engine is not starting and running. Check spark, fuel and compression, that is what it takes to get an engine to run.

anybody have a under seat pic of a g1 electric, I cant figure out where some of the wires go and I have looked at diagrams but just getting confused.

What is the colour of the wires that you need to hook up? What year G1?

its an early G1, all black wires but need help with the 4 motor motor wire location A1 A2 F1 F2 (I think thats the letters and numbers on the motor) and what wires go where on the battery, got this with no batteries and motor wires not hooked up, also this is my first electric cart.

Im looking at a G1 gas, what do ya'll think of the motor. Its cheap enough but know nothing about them, any info would be great.
