48 volt Charge recepticle wiring on Club Car
Hello all. I upgraded my 1990 club car with the IQ conversion from carts unlimited. I bought allied lithium batteries and the charger from their site but now i have a question. I bought a spartan body and just installed a new 48 volt charge recepticle to match the charger. I"m trying to determine where the grey wire with the yellow fuse goes. From what i read it looks like it goes to controller but i cant find where. Appreciate the help in advanced!

Re: 48 volt Charge recepticle wiring on Club Car
Which charger do you have?
The grey wire is only necessary if you want the charge interlock function on the controller. Not all chargers have an interlock wire, so it may not be needed depending on which charger you got. |

Re: 48 volt Charge recepticle wiring on Club Car
As far as I can tell that charger doesn't support any interlock function so you don't need to do anything with the grey wire.
You do need to jump 48v to the light blue wire on pin 5 at the controller to disable the controller interlock for the cart to work. |
