Default solenoid cutting out- losing power while driving

2010 precedent starting cutting out today while running at full speed. I can hear the solenoid clicking off while pedal is completely depressed. probably happened about 20 times over a mile or so

If I release pedal and then press down again it will start to go but will cut out again pretty quickly. Was able to get home by constantly letting off pedal, and then depressing pedal again which would re-engage solenoid. Seemed to do slightly better at half throttle but still would cut out after maybe 10-15 seconds

Voltage is good. showing 55v from my lithium pack

possibly MCOR ?

The MCOR has a micro-switch in it that provides an input to the controller that is required to latch the solenoid.
If the switch is intermittent the solenoid latching will be intermittent.
There are 5 inputs required by the controller to latch the solenoid:

Inputs needed by an IQ controller with 16 pin connector for it to latch the solenoid by grounding Pin #12 - Blue/White - Solenoid GND.
Inputs are B+ :
Pin #5 - Light Blue - Charge Interlock (OBC) - (not charging = B+)
Pin #6 - Green - Foot switch (MCOR) - pedal down
Pin # 9 - Gray - Tow/Run switch - Run
Pin #10 - Tan - Key switch - On
Pin #16 - Blue - Forward/Reverse switch - Reverse
or
Pin #8 - Brown - Forward/Reverse switch – Forward

Also, the solenoid latching coil could be faulty.
Check the solenoid connections for being tight and clean.

It does sound like an MCOR issue, if you get a new MCOR be sure to get the one with "ITW Switches" cast in the housing, made in Mexico, not China.
Hopefully, you have Pedal Group 2, checkout MCOR info here: https://cartpartsuperstore.ca/pages/...dels-explained

I just replaced an MCOR1 with an MCOR4 Upgrade kit in our 2003.
It was surging and lost top end.
Nice and smooth now.
I didn't use the Made in China MCOR that came in the kt.
We have an Alltrax XCT400 and the Alltrax tech said to be sure to clear the autocal under the controller tab when installing a new MCOR.
The Alltrax "learns" the range of the MCOR and applies it to the range of the Alltrax output.

If you need to purchase a Mcor please consider purchasing from a Site Sponsor who can supply you with tech support/advise instead of some unknown clown cart parts place.

Here is something to check before you buy a new MCOR. I'm thinking it might be your battery pack cutting out. When it cuts out do you lose power completely? I mean power to everything including lights and turn signals and any gauges you have. If you do it's your battery cutting out. Just a thought.

pack seems to be fine up to solenoid so i think it is losing signal. When this happens the voltage on my pack goes up on my voltmeter- 53 under load and 55 as soon as solenoid disconnects.

The next thing to do would be hooking up your laptop to your Alltrax and see what the error is when it quits.
