Re: Lift kit 101
My goal is to build a cart that will be used for general use around the house and something that looks cool. I am going to try to restore this in the following stages.
1A – Is the big bracket just behind your legs and inside the rear bodies suppose to be welded to the frame? 1B – Standing in front of the Cart. See where the upper A arms bolt to the frame. Is the bracket supposed to be bent? Thanks! |

Re: Lift kit 101
A1= yes welded to the frame rails & no cut outs as you have just a solid piece with 2 holes to bolt the body on. I will see if one of my pics shows it later.
And No. NO off angle bends on the front end! Can you back out of that pic a bit so I can see where it is? http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/attac...1&d=1224462657 |

Re: Lift kit 101
This should work! The more I look at the more I think it's bent?

Re: Lift kit 101
Yea, looks like your delta plate is bent a little. That one doesn't look too bad, shold be able to straighten it. If the frame is bent....well, you CAN straighten them too. It takes a good eye.
E1...your F/R sitch is missing. |

Re: Lift kit 101
Thanks for the replies on missing parts!
Now it’s time for the engine! I am going to send the engine out to be rebuilt $700. It is missing the carb. Before I do this is their anything I should know? Like “Buy a different engine” “use a different carb” “have them install a cam” or “bigger valves” Thanks again for all of the help! |

Re: Lift kit 101
Ok, now for the fun stuff!
I like the looks of the A-arm lifts but not the price. I am going to be using this on flat grassy ground. I am tossing around the following two lifts. Any feedback would be great before I spend $300!
