Re: Best Battery Termianal Protector ?
Hey Charlie ~ long time no see.... Your help was invaluable in my workhorse build some time ago! I use a Deka #03200 product which sounds very similar to the product you linked to.... Basically anything that seals the connection from the acidic air in the battery bay works......... even spray paint. But the key is applying it to all the surfaces.... not just the top. Hey thanks again for the help with that 3 link it rides supreme
P.S. dielectric grease smeared on everything is the best and the messiest Remember no oxygen = no corrosion |

Re: Best Battery Termianal Protector ?
Take a look at Boeshield T-9 or CorrosionX. I haven't used either on a g'cart, so your mileage may very. I have used T-9 in a salt water marine environment with excellent results and plan on using it on all of the electrical connections of my newly developing cart rebuild...

@ScottyB
Good to hear your 3 link worked out. Going to have to go back and read that thread again, just bought a 36VDC EzGo TXT that I will be building my own rear suspension for, front will be TerraToys A arm that is getting removed from my old gasser project. @Jetstream Thanks for the leads, been using CorrosionX on various marine projects for years with good results, Boeshield T-9 looks simular. |
