g16 power spring install help
Ok, I have read everything on here and my directions are a little week. I pulled off both sheaves and there is the part with the shoes on it. If I put the spacer behind it on the tranny side, doesn't that limit my top end not allowing the sheaves to separate as much as they did?
I ask because that is how I installed it per the directions and I'm running a whole lot slower. This is my only mod so far. I'm getting ready for larger tires. Thanks, )))))))) D E(> tranny, spacer, shoe, spring, sheave, sheave, nut... right? ))))) D E 8 ) ( > This is the set up .. ???? Sorry for the bad display. Can I just eliminate the spacer? Re: g16 power spring install help
Well, I answered my own question.. With the new spring as stiff as it is, I don't need the spacer with the stock tires. Now, That may change once I do the lift.
