Default 12" or 14" rims with 23" tires?

Wondering what advantages or disadvantages are one way or the other?
Would one affect ride quality more?

I figure with 12" rims, the tires would weigh more, but would it be enough to effect the cart?

Or is it mostly just a look preference thing?

12 inch rims with that size tire will give a slightly softer ride. 14 may be a bit harsh. people tend to go for the looks, but it affects the ride quality. The taller the side wall of the tire, the softer the ride will be.

Thank you sir
Ride quality being a main concern with my wife's back, I ordered the 12" wheel set.

This is why I run 22.5s on 8" wheels on two of my three carts! My third cart (the "work" cart) has 22s on 10" wheels only because I got them for a smokin' deal or else it would have them too.

I went with 12" on mine. I am using 22" tires and have had a bunch of people comment on how nice it rides.
