Default yamaha g16 duromax 440 throttle help

i am needing some help with the throttle on the g16 with a duromax 440 if anyone has done one can you please help. i dont know why i am drawing a blank on how to run the throttle for it. i have searched on here alot and there is so many post to go through and i cant find anyone that has done my set up yet so any help would be appreciated.

thanks i have looked through this before i believe and it doesn't have exactly what i need the duromax 440 engine seems to be different from all of those mentioned in that thread the way the throttle works and is set up. thanks for the reply i will keep looking

i guess im trying to figure out why people are taking off the throttle control and just using the governor arm in my mind i would think the throttle arm would be smoother throttle than using the governor arm

Getting the range of motion on the very small throttle arm matched with the carts long throw gas pedal is why it is done. Critical to go from the idle stop on the carb to full throttle with the right pedal movement. Too much and something is going to bend or break. Too little and you won't get full throttle. Not to mention good pedal feel and a measure of safety with that hefty spring on the gov arm. Another thing that took some doing was the throttle set up on my 440 cc sled engine swap. Pics on page 5 and 6. Again a lot of fab and fine tuning to get it just right.
