Default Re: Planning out the dash...

different dash I know...since I just have the stock dash, but here is what I did.

Just got a sheet of ABS, cut a piece out to fit into the ball holder void, got some inexpensive LED toggles with the fighter pilot style covers, drilled holes into the plate I cut out and just mounted it all up. Also the 2 USB ports as well.

Probably under $20 for everything on Amazon I think.

So far I'm only actually using one of the switches for the lights, but I like the look of the full panel of toggles even if I never get around to using them for anything.

Yea, that looks really nice. Not going to spend a ton of money on the expensive ones when the ones you all did look just as good. My OCD-ness makes me want to label them all.. lol. So, I think I will make up a 3d print and print it and paint it ;)

Thanks guys! Dash just came in!

I can see why these cart mods can become addictive

Starting to look like the cockpit of a 747!

But I still liked the low beer warning light the best.

Well, I went low cost instead.. lol. I ordered only 3 colors, red, yellow, green of the LED toggle switches like the attached picture. I had to order 5 at a time, but at $1-ish each, for 19 bucks with tax.. I have extras.. lol

Just more important things to buy than switches....so, saved the money.

I just will need to label them heh.
