Default Re: RoyPow in 2002 ClubCar DS w/ DC current?

I put the Roypow 105 in my 2003 DS a year ago and it fits and works great. I'll attach some pics. Had to raise the rear body to rotate the battery into position. Fabbed aluminum angle across the frame rails in front bolted to the battery and the battery sits on the frame crossmember at the rear. I put a ratchet strap across rear of battery and frame rails until I could fab a hold down bracket but its been on there a year and is still tight. I may just leave it.

If the battery will stay put in a rollover then you should be fine. When I mounted my battery that was my consideration. If the cart is upside down and I'm still in the passenger area, I wouldn't want the battery falling on me...

I think straps would be fine but the little S hooks at the end appear suspect. I'd drill a hole so the S hooks could latch in or something similar. $0.02

OEM FLA batteries are not secured in the cart in anyway. At least mine were not when I changed over to my Big Battery. The Big Battery actually is secured in place better then the FLA were.

It is bolted to the aluminum angle in the front which is bolted to the frame. I will probably get around to fabbing a rear hold down bracket at some point.
