New Build: Stretched and Lifted DS
Was a new member 5-6 years ago when I built my first cart but have been absent for a long while with new career, marriage, and baby. Recently started a new build and came back, but for the life of me couldn't figure out username and password, so I'm starting over. As soon as I get post count I'll start putting pics up.
Breakdown: 1. DS rolling chassis 2. donor DS frame(easier than running down the correct I-beam and it was laying behind the barn) 3. D&D 42A (torque motor) I hunt big hills, not worried about speed. 4. 700amp FSIP controller 5. 8x 6v US Batt 145xc 6. Scotty B throttle conversion 7. My own Bellcrank. 8. Scotty B (monster) reversing contactor to eliminate F&R Handle 9. Scotty B 400/1000 solenoid 10. Disc brakes. 11. Spring over axle conversion with HD spring pack. (71/2 in total lift) 12. 12" black steelies w/ 25" Innova mud Gear Tires 13. 4" Club Car Z-lift converted to 71/2" (Hey, I like the reliability and stock steering feel and solidity) 14. On board charger from a Stealth The rest will be one off built and I'll update as the project comes along. Rolling chassis is complete and almost ready to go to Rhino Line. Just finishing up on the front seat mounts this weekend. Hope you guys enjoy this build as much as I have, and I'm open to comments for "constructive" criticism and advice. Thanks, Mike |
