No spark G14

I have no spark at all coming from the coil. I have replaced the coil and the plug. What else could be the cause?

You also have the pickup coil that senses the magnet on the flywheel and the ignitor unit on the firewall that actually controls the firing. Welcome to the world of G14's. More times than not it is the ignitor and it is expensive. The last time I priced one out from partzilla it was $200 plus shipping. BUT make sure all your grounds are good since that was all that was wrong with the last one I looked at. P.S. I just looked it up part # JN3-82305-00 $193.15 plus shipping and it is in stock. P.P.S The coil pickup or pulsar unit is part#J38-85580-20-00 $90.14 plus shipping also in stock. One other note is did you replace the coil with a genuine yamaha unit or something else ? A lot of that something else stuff isn't too reliable

What happened with mine was a wire broke at the connector that plugs into the cdi box.
