Default 1992 Club Car DS - Power Issues

Good afternoon,
What are the best ways to trouble shoot what is pulling power? I have a 1992 Club Car DS. It ran great and then sat in my garage for like 3 or 4 weeks. I go to jump on it and when you push the gas the solenoid just clicks a bunch of times. I checked the battery and it is reading 12.5 volts. However, when I press the gas pedal it draws the power all the way down to less than 6 volts. The battery was new in May. What is the best way to eliminate the battery being bad?

Lead acid batteries need to be maintained and charged periodically. In your case it looks like the battery was not charged and thus does not have enough amps to crank. Try charging up the battery and try again.

The person I got it from put a marine battery in it and it did not like that. Changed battery and we are good to go! Thanks!

Fast clicking solenoid is always a sign of a bad battery. Voltage dropping to 6 volts is a bad battery :)
