Default Allied Battery Issue

I have two Allied Batteries, allied charger, and allied battery guage.

On Battery one, the Allied battery guage shows 53V and 100% fully charged.

One battery two, it's not turning the battery guage on. it doesn't register voltage.

I tried another meter and am getting the same issue.

What's confusing: Both batteries are showing voltage with my voltmeter in the 53v range.

Is this a red flag for this battery? Seems odd that it's not registering with simple guages but showing volts when i attached a voltemeter.

I have not connected these batteries to a cart yet. They are one year old.

I called allied and the warranties are non transferrable. I bought this battery setup from a gentleman.

Any suggestions on cause?

Sounds like it might be a BMS failure. I'm not a fan of Allied.

Do any other lithium manufacturers warranties transfer? Never heard of anyone offering that.

Could be a configuration issue with the 2nd battery as well. I believe their batteries use a canbus meter from the bms. Could be an issue with the canbus settings.
