Default 8V winter storage charging question

Hey all happy new year. I have a question in reguards to charging my 8V batts. They are out of my cart in the warm basement but I dont have an 8V charger. My question is can I use a 12V charger on a 2 amp setting and keep an eye on it with all the batts in pararell? Or break down and buy a 24 V charger and run 3 in series. Or do you think as long as they are warm the"ll be ok. They won't be able to be back in the cart till at least another 3 months. Any info from all you battery guys will be great. Thanks BT

. . . out of curiosity, why did you pull the batteries from cart? . . . on a side note, there are 8v battery tenders available such as this:

Pulled them out because the cart stays out in a barn with no electricity or heat and the temps go down to single digits and have batteries freeze out there before. Too much of an investment to just leave to chance. Thanks for the link will be making the purchase soon.
