1999 Club Car wiring question (brake lights)

I am trying to help my dad help his neighbor with a 1999 Electric Club Car. He wants to add an additional brake light since the golf bags block the existing ones, but is unsure how if they are 12 volts, and the best way to wire one in. I am very good with automotive wiring, but unusre if these are chassis ground or not, and I don't know what voltage the lighting runs from. The only diagrams I can find are for the drive system. Any help or direction would be appreciated.

nothing gets grounded to the cart....everything to neg. terminal on battery.....they are 12 volt lights so theres a good chance theres a 48 volt reducer on it already.......need to find that out for sure cause it makes a difference on wiring....................................

you need the year for wiring diagram than there should be one here in the stickies up top of page....................................
