Default 1986 club car 36v noise

this my first cart. i was wonder if it is normal for my cart to make a whining noise when going forward. it doesn't do it in reverse. and it seems to go just fine. help me out here

Have you checked differential for proper lub level? If its up to bottom of fill opening then you might try draining and putting new fliuid ( NOT SURE ON 1986 ) but later model carts use 30 weight motor oil in electric and 80-90 gear oil in gas carts.
HELP ANYONE WITH 1986 Club Car what is correct lub is used in electric?

you could always sell it and get an EZgo. BTW the oil trick did not work for him.

Wear is wear and it happens to ALL differentials be they from cars, trucks, OR EVEN EZGO's and yes even lawn tractors???

I know, I was just messin with him, we work together. besides he got a pretty darn good deal on that cart. And your right about the wearing out, I had to replace the hydro pump on that tractor. But not bad for a 1976
