Default Checking Batteries

I know I saw it on here somewhere but I can't find it now. How do I check the voltage of my battery pack no my Precedent? I know how to check the individual batteries but isn't there a way I can check the entire pack? I don't know which batteries are which number unfortunately but I can tell you that I do get a reading close to what I would expect if I take it from the negative post on the driver side front battery and the positive post of the passenger side front battery? Is that 1 and 4?

Study the battery pack, every battery cable will connect to another battery except for 2 these are the 2 you connect the meter to to get a pack reading.....what do you get?

That's a little high. Let the batteries settle 45 minutes or so and test again. 100% is 50.93 ...... recharge at 50% or 48.41 volts

Scotty's right and actually mine takes over 24 hours to settle down to the 51 volt mark.

Your pack is 1/2 volt low. The difference between empty 48.41 and full 50.93 is 2.52 v . It looks like your batteries have lost 1/5th (20%) of their original capacity.

I checked them again a little while after posting this and it was up to 50.4 after sitting a little longer. I check them again when I get off work today and see if they've fluctuated any more.
