Default Rivets, rivets everywhere!

Has some one found a better solution to rivets? Like a screw based system that spreads out behind whatever your joining together?

At least something that's not so much "one time use only."

I was thinking of the plastic pins they use on cars with the pin inserted in the middle to spread out the 2 or 3 "pins" to hold it in place. Problem is I can't find any small enough, for example, the panel where the key switch is. The ones I have dont spread out enough so the panel has about 1/4" of play still.

pic for ideas.

Default Re: Rivets, rivets everywhere!

Try NAPA i picked up several different varieties n sizes of 6-8 count pkgs.
Worked on my 18' DRIVE2 EFI
Try Googling the type n size (metric) probably why 1/4" is loose, SAE not metric
