One other piece of advice from someone that learned the hard way. Make sure your fuel pump is up to the job.

I have found the B&S vanguards 808656 fuel pump with a return line was the only thing that could keep up with extended high rpms runs on 90+ degree days.

If your wanting to lift the cart. You are going to want to drop the front mount on the engine cradle. Then your engine mounting plate should clear the top of the cradle. Drop the front Something like this.

Thanks!!! Amazon has it for $14 not bad just ordered it. Can’t be any worse than the factory one

Rib that seams a bit to much fabrication for me at least ... it already has a factory 3in lift kit I might just rock that for now

Thats what I did on my 96 DS. No reason to retain the existing.

Have you thought about removing the part that interferes with the motor mount? It appears to be an extra piece that is not needed. That 3/8" all thread isn't going to last very long.
