Default accelerator seems sluggish

I'm new to cart life. Recently purchased a 2001 48v ds. I've started to notice some hesitation in the reaction time from pressing pedal. Seems like this is after it sits or is charged over night and gets better after it is used for a few minutes. Is there something starting to fail or need adjustment? New batteries in 2017 and have been checking battery acid levels. Contacts seem fine. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Default Re: accelerator seems sluggish

Pretty common for the MCOR to fade this way and renew with use.
With the key off floor the pedal 30 times then retest drive if response is improved I would replace the 17 yr old MCOR.
