Default AGM Battery placement

I have a minor issue with how the batteries fit my 03 g22. Should I move the charging port? I was thinking either mount the charging port inside the battery area or splitting the batteries 3+1 like the pic shows. My concern with splitting them up is stability and the concern of them moving around.

I also considered moving the charging port and splitting the batteries 2+2 with a small storage area in the center. See pic above.

You could cut off & re weld the charge port mounting bracket, i have. Or you could mount the charge port directly to the body plastic, it would work, but not be as sturdy.

I'm with you on moving the bracket. I think I'll set the batteries up 2 on each end (middle pic). I was a little concerned about the weight of all 4 in the middle to begin with.
