![]() Most likley the "bar" that the sector (the arm with teeth that catch;s on the bar) has lost it's straight edge. You can get a new bar, but you have to remove and disassemble the complete Team pedal assy. Not a fun job. Or you can just buy a whole new pedal assy...at a price.

![]() so fun news it looks like the bar can just be flipped 180 and its set up to be used twice! rock on yamaha!
my selector looks more worn then the bar.. and since that bar looks more difficult to change out I am filing my selector bar flat again on the teeth before I buy a new one. (im thrifty) hey small block I am gonna guess your associated with the yamaha dealer down there? if so do you keep stock in parts like this? |

![]() looks like mine was already de-riveted - however since the bolts are in the way they are I would need to disassemble the thing anyway because the bolt wont come out with the throttle assembly.
for the archive the orange is the area of wear, I was able to take the yellow part and make it look nice again with a file cutoff wheel and a grinder. I also adjusted the green bolt for dis-engaging the selector. all this work made the parking break grab right away like new again. I will likely swing down and get a new selector some time as its inevitable it will wear out quicker then normal. but at least for the camping season I am good. if you cant tell I drive the piss out of my cart. yea I am gonna ship my clutches out to do that plowman fix after the summer is over. |
