Default D5 Ranger mystery

Well here’s a problem that has stumped me. My problem child D5 Ranger powers up but throws the accelerator error code and won’t move. If I unplug then reconnect the accelerator unit, it clears and runs fine. This repeats at every power cycle. I have replaced the accelerator unit, the controller and the EM brake unit. Only thing I can think is to try a new wiring harness?
Suggestions?
Thanks!

What's the code you see?

You've replaced the accelerator unit, did that include the pedal? Could the accelerator pedal be depressed at startup?

Do you have the ThrottleDetectActive param set to disable?

Error code 3
I have tested this with the accelerator unit detached but plugged in, so it’s not the pedal position. I will recheck that though.
I do not have the programming software or cable. Sounds like I might need that

have you confirmed the voltages at the throttle wiper? I know you replaced but maybe something shorting/grounding?

Good idea I will check
What hardware/software do I need to get in and set parameters?
I have both 400 and 400-C controllers

400-C controller, you'll need the gef12 sw. The newer version of that is called ev48-400-c

FJ controller (400/400-A), you'll use the ev programming tool.

You can find those software applications in this group with a few searches.
