Default Vatrer and regen?

I just purchased the Vatrer 48v 105ah lithium battery for my txt. I have an Alltrax xct 500 controller with an admiral Mot-b4 motor. trying to figure out if i need to change any settings on the controller as far as regen? The documentation with the battery pack says max charging Voltage 56.8v max charging current 100a. I know i have seen 60v+ on my digital voltmeter and im pretty sure the controller is set to 500a max regen. Im guessing i will need to turn down the max regen current setting. Its been a while since i fooled with the controller settings so i dont remember if there is a max voltage cut off during regen.

I don't think Alltrax has a voltage cutoff for Regen. Wish they did. I don't have any hills where I drive and I don't charge my battery to 100% so I don't have to worry about too much Regen on my carts. But if you top off the battery and then drive down a long hill, you could overcharge the battery. I forget what the regen settings are for Alltrax but I think it may just be current. PLug your laptop in and take a look.

I dont have an Altrax, but maybe the over voltage protection feature is what you need to tune. If 'safety mode' is a reduced regen, this could prevent a BMS shutdown.

Over Voltage:
This is the maximum voltage the controller will operate for. If the controller sees a higher voltage it will go into a safety mode and blink 1 green 3 red repeatedly.

NOTE: You want this setting to be at least 8V higher than your battery pack voltage. IE: 48V pack you want a minimum Over Voltage of 58V. This will compensate for overcharge when you take the cart off its charger.
