Default 2023 Vivid V4L programmer

Good evening all, need some help finding the software and correct plug for my 2023 Vivid V4L so I can get this speed adjusted….these are sold with a max speed set at 19 mph and traversing 35 mph streets it’s just dangerous & annoying to everyone else…..and honestly I just want it to go faster!
Does anyone here have the goods on Vivid software used ( I’m sure it’s the same as all the newer brands with digital dashes ) rather than an hour each way to the dealer plus sit time?
Help!

Never heard of em, are these made in china carts?

Figure out what motor controller is in that cart, its unlikely they builds their own components, so theres a chance its an off the shelf controller that you can reprogram.

Post some pics and part numbers

Not much info out there on these carts yet. I suggest as TheCartBoy said. Identify your controller and follow that route or contact the dealer you got it from for the speed upgrade. It states quite clearly in the user manual that it can be increased.

Vivid is made here in Fort Myers, FL. I can’t tell when they went in to business but they are running the Eco lithium battery and I tried to upload what I think is the controller as the throttle position cable goes in as well as a bunch of other wires out to the motor. This thing takes off like a rocket but falls right on its face at 19 on the display…..there is a LOT left on the top speed but the owners manual states 25mph but I know there is a way around it…..there always is. I totally get the max speed due to LSV laws and 19 mph keeps it in the “golf cart” category so registering & insuring isn’t needed in Florida until you breach the 20 mph threshold. Not worried about the laws as I am in a private community.
Let’s see if the pics posted…..newbie here so be patient.

Also….I assume the speed sensor is integrated in to the motor as there are no external wires to anything on the rear axle…..I’ve looked at the throttle control but no luck there with anything…..appears the speed is controlled completely with the software…I’m certain this is a “standard” controller from China as I’ve seen this plug on other new electric carts. Motor specs are a 4kw 5.3 Hp…..hopefully a good software hack will be revealed soon enough.

The picture of heatsink, not sure what that is looks a bit small. The controller will have the motor phase leads connected to it, real thicc wires. 2nd pic is a 4 pin molex connector, which is common on EZGO carts with Curtis controllers, but no guarantee that's what's in there. Keep digging, work backwards from the motor phase cables.

The controller used in the v model is made by “new green energy”. It uses canbus for pgrogramming. I’m not sure on the dongle or plug it needs. The photos I have seen suggest “peninsula instruments” usb can dongle. The software is called “HKCK”

I have some of this info posted for the vivid on http://vivid.Cartcables.com I need to update it.

Thanks Krazymatt, I knew there would be someone out there that has the right stuff for this new “EV” as they call it.
I do see the controller, it’s mounted directly above the motor. I’ll get a pic of it posted up shortly.
