I have a 2024 classic. Waiting on my cable. I think I have the correct software, EV48 400C. I was looking for areas of the software to change for best performance.

Get the gef12 user manual which you'll find in this group. The manual will describe the parameters to change for max fwd and rev speed. And acceleration.

Thanks to all the great post on this forum, I was able to get the correct cable and download the correct software. My cart is a 2024. I dl the EV48 400C. i ask my dealer about a chance to do any performance changes to the cart before delivery and he said, no problem and there was no charge. The cart would top off at 25. I thought there should be more that can be had out of it and that is the reason I wanted to peak in. I first went to the acceleration tab and bump those numbers up. I had some idea what to set them to from some FB post. First thing i noticed was that they were already bumped up. I went to the motortab and it was adjusted to 6000 for the max rpm. It was a bitter sweet moment. The dealer did what he mentioned he would but 25 was going to be about it. The reason I;m share this is the motor RPM was not were I gained more speed. I;ve been hovering over the gear tab and looking in and around many of the tabs and just didn;t see anything that jumped oout. The gear tab was calling for me and I kept thinking there are NO gears on this thing. Well, as i kept looking, I realized they were describing the hight and low switch. After bumping up the high gear setting to 6000 I was rather excited that I was now getting up to 28/29. I was excited. So, i wonder maybe they like me didn:t know that you also needed to bump the high gear setting for max performance. So, if you find yourself changing the Max rpm to 6000 and no additional speed is offered, Go into the gear tab and change that setting. Hope this helps others. It took me a few days looking before I realized this is additional place that needed adjustment.
