Re: Lowering a Club Car DS
Wow I'm a jerk. Completely forgot to post pics. I even lowered another DS just a couple weeks ago in my garage. I just text my wife to have her remind me when I get home of how we did it.

Re: Lowering a Club Car DS
It is possible to lower it so it's 2" off the ground buy flipping the rear springs in the back. The only problem with this is it will no longer have rear suspension.

Re: Lowering a Club Car DS
Ok I've got pics. If you want to lower the rear just run to autozone and grab some drop/lift blocks. That's how we did the rear. Even comes with new u bolts.

Re: Lowering a Club Car DS
Ok here are the pics. Probably going to take a couple posts to get them. You jack it up and put it on stands. Take off the tires and un bolt the leaf spring from the king pins. Then you un bolt the 4 bolts holding the center plate on. You then take the centering pin out and flip it over and put it back in. Bolt the spring in upside down loosely. Unbolt your shocks from the top mount so your a arm can travel up high enough. Bolt the leaf spring ends into your king pins. Use a tape measure and rotate your centering pin till the spring is even left and right and tighten down the four bolts tight. Put your wheels back on and start making a new upper shock mount or buy shorter shocks. Taking off the front body helps but it isn't neccesary.

Re: Lowering a Club Car DS
In this one You can see the simple shock mount I made real fast. Ride just like factory. Last 2 are before and after with a tape measure to show how much drop I got. You might have to clearence some of the supports a little for the tie rods.

Re: Lowering a Club Car DS
Sorry to dig up an ancient thread, but is there any chance you have measurements on that bracket you made to relocate the front shocks?
