Re: Upgrade to navitas ac?
From what I've found so far, the Navitas AC upgrade (motor and controller) will get you more speed, more torque and empty your pockets considerably. It will also give you the option to go to 72 volts for even more speed.

Re: Upgrade to navitas ac?
Do you have to change wiring, gauge of wiring, etc? Or is it literally JUST swap the motor & controller and you’re off to the races?

Re: Upgrade to navitas ac?
I would go to at least 4ga wire on the entire setup if not 4ga already. As well, I would recommend a Gigavac 400a contactor (solenoid) to replace the stock one or a Curtis Albright. Avoid the orange garbage can contactors if possible.

Re: Upgrade to navitas ac?
Did the Navitas full A/C conversion this weekend on my CC DS. Completely different cart. Definitely got to learn not to turn it up and jam at full speed all the time because the battery drain is alot more than your regular small mods. It's a great system. Dave at Revolution Carts hooked me up with all the correct parts.

Re: Upgrade to navitas ac?
Ts a big difference from a stock setup, but Won't be much of a difference from what you have now. Certainly not enough to justify the near 2k price
