Default predator with propane

Im starting a predator 420 engine swap in a 1985 Par Car. As I was looking into the predator engine line I found myself on a generator website. On this website it talked about a propane mod for the engine. Looked farther and they have on for the 420. This would solve the fuel tank placement problem and seeing how cart will only be used once a month at camper I wouldnt have to worry about bad gas. Has anyone done this here? I have seen it done to rock crawlers and engine ran fine at all RPMs. I think the kit replaces the carb for the 420. There was one that uses gasoline or propane.

My 460 Generator is a dual fuel unit. Parts certainly exist BUT remember you are going to give up about 20% of your power.

You bring up a good point. Years ago when my friends and I were rock crawling, i helped a buddy put propane on his toyota powered buggy. A 22R engine. He did loose some HP but gained torque. Throttle response was instant. I dont remember dyno numbers and he probably dont remember or have sheet anymore.

might hold off on it, budget is gonna be stretched thin, engine, clutch, gearbox and rear axle and chain. Fab and machine work done by me. an electric fuel pump and stock tank on the par car will be cheapest route. Maybe next year add the propane. Ill check out the carb you mention though
