EZGO TXT48 Stops and Goes Why? nobody knows..

I have a EZGO TXT48 with the
Alltex TXT48-500 controller and the TXT48-500 amp Solenoid (via scottyb)
stock motor

just recently i would step on the accelerator then it would quit and the cart alarm goes off i lift my foot off wait a second or 2 step on the accelerator and it takes off again. A few minutes later if may do it again or it would be fine for a bit Might go all day might go for 30 seconds.

I have check and cleaned connections. Plugged and re-plugged. the cart doesn't lose electricity, panel lights stay on. Brand new batteries. Did same thing on old batteries.

I hear the solenoid click every time this happens.

edit: just read this "2011 EZGO RXV Cutting out and on while driving"
i missed this sounds like the same problem.

Not sure what to check/replace.....

Well the new solenoid didn't fix it same problem. Runs a while stops i press the accelerator a couple of times it goes. Then stops. Etc.. any body have another idea???

My 2013 TXT48 was acting in a similar fashion. Drove me nuts for a while. Ran great, then nothing. It would run great for a week, or 2 minutes. It finally quit all together. It turned out the ITS was bad. Replaced it and all is good now. Maybe that is your problem too.

Just reread your post. I missed the part about the solenoid clicking. Mine didn't click when it quit. Sorry.

Anything getting hot after running awhile? Cables all look good?

You have the Alltrax controller so just connect a laptop to it and set it to log the data to a file. That will tell you what's going on.
