Default Big block conversion question

New guy here…question for the “Big Block” people
I have a club car Villager limo cart, cart has a 6” lift and 23” tires
I have gotten a Honda gx630 big block for the conversion…
We do a lot of “charity” rides with our cart as it is an 8 seater
For the big block conversion , what do I really need to get for this swapxoxo
Is a motor mounting plate and an adapter for the shaft all I really needxoxo
$1300 usd is a lot for the kit(1500cad)cart has custom duals that we would reconfigure to fit the v twin, motor came with muffler
Any help would be great

Yes you're posting in an electric cart section lol, but that's ok, I'll chime it. Maybe one of the moderators will move this?

So an all in one kit is a great idea because it literally comes with everything you need. If you aren't into fabrication and welding, I'd definitely go that route if money isn't an issue.

Now, it is possible to do all the work yourself:
1. Engine mounting plate - make adjustable for belt tensioning
2. Exhaust - must be built into and supported by the engine cradle/swingarm
3. Battery cables - you're going to want 4 gauge cables at a minimum
4. Ignition switch - a Briggs style tractor ignition switch (off, run, start)
5. Air filter - stock is ok if it will fit, if not a Uni style will do
6. Clutch - a Comet 780 1" is the gold standard, unless you have big power
7. Belt - don't skimp here, get a name brand with kevlar, ribbed belt
8. Wiring - this is where most people fail, the wiring must be high quality stranded copper, with relays and fuses, and should be color coded for easy identification and protected by a loom.

I think I have most things covered here, except for….
I’m looking for a mounting plate for the gx630, there is an engine cradle in this cart already, the wiring will be easy … fab work won’t be bad as the cart has a lot of custom fab work done, exhaust, seating, fenders etc. hard to find suppliers in Canada for mounting plates and or coupler for the different shaft sizes

I doubt you will find an exact match engine cradle. A lot of the big block guys made their own. I could be wrong but I've been right a time or two. GL with the project.

My guess would be a Vegascarts mounting plate that matches your cart. It takes most all the Honda,Briggs and clone engines.
