Used the cart for the post office run this a.m. BUT going to use the car up to the beach. Still not quite warm enough for longer runs.

Had Vicki out twice today for the post office, marina and northern beach run. The bicycle speedo battery died so I replaced that. Still need a winter jacket to ride comfortably. Those 30 degree nights keep the bay water cool and the ever present winds keep the air pretty cold.

73 degrees here today BUT 21 + winds. Walked Izzy in a winter jacket around the marina BUT opted to use the car for the post office run. I didn't see anyone else using their cart either. P.S. The wind gust are now 40+ mph. No later day ride today.

Beautiful day on the bay. Took Vicki on the post office run and did the marina run while I was out. Seen one other cart out but if this weather holds I expect to a few more out this afternoon. Next weekend is the official opening of the island's season.

Finally did the full 2 island tour with a beach glass search on the far island. Found a very different piece of pink glass. Both islands are overflowing with striper fishermen. Really the first long run using the Holley mighty mite electric fuel pump. It is working well. P.S. The GF spotted a roosting Bald Eagle on this maiden full trip for the cart this season. Great Day on the Bay

The east coast storm system is here until at least tomorrow nite with heavy rains and pretty constant 20+ mph winds. What a difference a day makes
P.S. I hope all our southern members are safe from what has been some very heavy weather  |
