Re: Precedent front coilover modification
The Steeleng lift looks identical to the Allsport lift. Any comments about how this would work with the Allsport?
Also the spring tension appears to be adjustable. Have you tried any other settings? |

Re: Precedent front coilover modification
It does look similar, doesn’t it!! The critical dimension is obtained by jacking up the cart, disconnecting the shock, then measuring eye to eye on the shock axis. On my setup, it was 9 1/4”....240mm. I have mine on the softest setting.

Re: Precedent front coilover modification
Cool little mod Jseal. I have the Steerling 6" too and the uni-leaf is horribly stiff especially with a gas cart where all the weigh is on the back of the cart. I didn't want to remove a front leaf though in fear it would sag the front end. It would be cool to find a 250lb spring for those shocks you got there.

Re: Precedent front coilover modification
I found these that I want to try on my 3.5 lifted precedent https://www.ebay.com/itm/2pcs-230mm-...0AAOSwtxlb37bt
I also want to swap my heavy duty rear leaf springs for dual action ones. I’m hoping that will soften the ride. |
