Riorat, I was born in Morrilton, grew up between Perryville and Little Rock. Just saying Hi to a fellow Arky. I miss hunting the big deer we have there, Florida deer you can carry with 1 arm.

Re: Texas Hog Hunt!!!!!!!!
They probably trapped those hogs in pens and then shot them. I have seen groups of 30+ hogs but it is hard to wipe them all out at once.

Re: Texas Hog Hunt!!!!!!!!
Okay, so if I remember correctly from what you guys explained to me before, these hogs would be descendants of domestic hogs that got loose and reproduced to the point of being a nuisance like coyotes and the like ?

Re: Texas Hog Hunt!!!!!!!!
Thats right Azboo. Some people just enjoy the hunt using dogs and turn hogs loose after capturing them. The boar hog I shot earlier this year had his tusk cut out so he couldn't hurt the hunting dogs.

Re: Texas Hog Hunt!!!!!!!!
Seems to me once they catch them, they should spay and neuter them before releasing them..I know it's probably a crazy idea, but I think the same thing about the mustangs.. they wouldn't be slaughtered if there weren't too many of them..
