Lester charger
Lester 36volt model 8600 when started shows charging but sounds like a relay chattering

If it's showing amps on the amp meters and you are getting proper voltage. then it could just be the rods that hold the transformer together. I see a lot of older ones get a hum and almost a rattle to them. you can fix that by giving them a little tap to seat them better. if the amp meter isn't moving or is bouncing then you have another issue. good luck
