The front end is off of a Yamaha G1-It's upside down- the "headlight"holes are cup holders.
jeggers idea is good one to start with-use some good penatrating oil. If you can get some more pix,a little farther out showing more of the engine area,that would help. Good luck!!! |

ok i have another question when i push down on the gas pedal the linkage that looks like a bike cable doesnt pull it pushes shouldnt it pull to give gas or is it hoocked up on the carb. wrong, im still lost, it cant be this hard.

It does neither. The spring in this picture is pulling the throttle open. When you depress the throttle it should give slack on the cable allowing the spring to pull back. As I said before spray some penetrating oil on both sides of the cable it may be stuck. |

ok i just played with it and it works fine until i bolt down the c clamp where it was, so i tried to move it and nothing got better does anybody think it might be stretched out. thanks kris

ok i loosen it up and didnt do anything, i wounder if it might be the spring on the pedal that is hooked to the cable might not be pulling it back. i really dont know i might just buy a new cable and see if that helps but that $40. i dont know i can feel it working in the cable when i hit the gas but it doesnt move the part on the carb. or should i put a stronger spring on the carb.

hey jeggers if you look at the first page where the other guy posted 3 pictures mine doesnt like that, if you look at mine the cable is ran stright to the pedal with a little spring, that guys has all thread and then a spring, is mine right or his that might be the whole flipping deal, i just thought to look back. you tell me your thought
