looking for a top for a Par Car
I am buying a 1991 Columbia Par Car and am new to golf carts. I am interested in putting a top/canopy on it. does anyone know where I can find one or look for one?

Unfortunately, you will not be able to find a new one. Simply put, no one makes them for Par Cars anymore. If you want one specifically for a Par Car you'll have to grab a used one somewhere. You may want to give VintageGolfCartParts.com a call to see if they have any.
With things like roofs, rear seats, etc. I have found that it is possible to use those made for other carts so long you are comfortable with doing some modifications to make it fit the Par Car. In these cases I have found that similar era Yamaha carts work best as they were similar in size to Par Cars. I have a Yamaha half windshield on one of my carts and a Yamaha rear seat on the other. I had to alter / create some mounting hardware but the end product looks great and functions well. |
