With zero information about the cart, history, symptoms, etc it's impossible to tell.
What kind of ezgo and what year?
When it runs, does it run well or stumble, stutter, or bog?
Maintenance history?
Gas or electric?

That would be perfect for me. I hit my tee shot between 200 and 300 yards Well I did before I retired from the game two years ago. Now my weakness is golf carts instead of golf :)

If I hit a golf ball, it usually starts curving so bad I never know where it went. So I'm guessing like 700 or 800 yards I just bring one of the big buckets of range balls with me and estimate where i think it *should* have gone and play from there lol

You guys are funny lol. I golf almost everyday in the summer and sadly can barely make a 200 yard drive, and yeah it doesn't matter cuz it'll be in someone else's fairway anyway lol. So, I definitely need a buggy that'll go 400-500 yards on every shot. It takes me that far to find the dang thing. But it's ok, I pack plenty of refreshments in case I get lost...........FORE

I resemble all those golfing remarks.

Assuming this is a gas cart because it's in the gas section (and he said it's a gas cart) it sounds like it's running out of gas. (fuel pump, filter, line, sticking float etc.) Or could be a coil breaking down. Just gotta wait until he comes back.

I played golf 45 years. My game was once good. Handicap for years was single digit. Then I got the yips putting and chipping so I said the heck with it and quit.

lol trig

Just to go back to topic, failing ignitor or coil could do the same thing. My carryall would run a couple hundred yards and lose spark. let it sit for a minute and it would go a couple hundred yards again and lose spark. New coil fixed that. If it's one of the newer ezgo's with the kawi engine would be in the same boat. I don't see/hear a lot about the robins engines losing spark, except for bad grounds though.

Yeah it'd be nice if we knew what year it is and some history....

HELLO YOLONDA, Come back and tell us more so we can help you!!!

My first thought if it's a fuel starvation thing is maybe she recently replaced the gas cap with a non-vented type

But I'm not going to guess anymore

Could be anything: If it's gas (which you didn't say) it could be the fuel/air mix - wrong gas/oil mix- Crud in tank with clogged fuel filter - Carb issues/stuck float - stuck choke - out of fuel - wrong size jets - the list goes on and on
