Cart finished for summer
After a lot of BGW post readings I finally started on my cart. After 3 months it's ready for the campgroung.
Here are a few pictures of how it started and a few after. |

Re: Cart finished for summer
Here are some between pictures.
I could not believe the amount of dirt and dust under the body. I was worried about the frame being rusted but after a little soap and water it was in great shape. A torque spring and 6" Jakes lift was next. |

Re: Cart finished for summer
Got the wheels on and just had to roll it outside for a look. Then back inside to start the dash. I didn't what to have just a bolt on rebuild so I decided to make my own dash out of cherry.

Re: Cart finished for summer
The part that worried me the most was the painting. Thanks again for all the posts on how to do the body. It was a huge help to me.

Re: Cart finished for summer
I got the rear body on and again I just had to roll it outside for a look. At least the snow was gone. Got the front put on and had to go around the block.
At last the roof, rear seat and wheel flares. Did not have the time or $ to get the seats covered so I used the rattle can seat paint till next winter. |
