Thank you.
If you are asking about current the led version of a 9004 pulls much less current than the standard bulb. I replaced the bulbs on an rxv with 886 and 1157 bulbs and the current draw went from 7 amps to around an amp. Muy bueno.

Thanks folks. I'll check which setup I have to power the lights, a reducer or a connection across 2 batteries. I'm going to go with the LED's in this post for sure as I like the idea of drawing less current when they're on.

The new LED lights will make a big difference. I picked some up last year and as Goober mentioned I would also recommend adding a voltage reducer especially if you are adding another accessory like a light bar.

Great topic and timely too! While on Christmas break, my two oldest boys rammed my carryall 2 into a bush and broke the left headlight bezel. I cannot find a factory bezel replacement part number...anyone have a number?

1016880 I believe is what you are looking for assuming you have a 93 or newer DS.

I doubt you will find that part. It really isn’t meant to be replaced. Your easiest solution is LED 4x6 headlights. A little under $40.

Note - there are two different cowls for the DS and the cowl determines which headlights can be installed. Please see linked "sticky".

This is the route I"m thinking of taking,

Djohns18, do you have any instructions, what work is involved, tools, cutting etc

Also want to replace the rear lights with LEDs, so suggestions for those would be great.

Thanks
