Body polishing
Hi everyone.
I searched this topic, but there is actually very little written on this. My new to me black precedent has some scuffs/surface scratches on the body. I have a DA buffer and pad selection I use on my boat twice a year. From what I read, the products I use on my boat gel coat will not work on plastics. I have seen people say they had good success with M105 and M205. Mcguiars however recommends against it. They say it can stain??? I see Turtle Wax Ice is recommended. But which Turtle Ice? Ice Spray Wax or Ice Liquid Wax? Also, is Turtle Ice Speed Compound safe to use? My plan is to polish the body, then Cerakote the trim. I appreciate the help. I meant to put this in Club Car Gas but I don't know how to move it. Oh well. Same body. |

Re: Body polishing
I used regular old polishing compound and it helped alot. Didn't fix it, just helped.

Re: Body polishing
I was researching body polishing as I want to polish up my Club Car DS.
OP did not get a reply to his original question of which Turtle Wax Ice - or does it not matter? Second question: This recommendation came for use on a Precedent and I have a DS. I believe they are different materials so would this still be recommended? |
