I dropped mine two inches and i don't have any problems with my steering shaft. I can't run my cart all the way down because it rubs so i would try it before u cut it.

well i'm local so no shipping and they were for his wife's cart so he gave them to me at cost almost.

i can't say price but 200 less then i found them for on ebay

the owner mike is a stand-up guy and i'm sure he would take care of anyone nearly the same....

alot of progress made yesterday:

-cart is now lowered and perfectly even
-entire frame is painted and ready for assembly
- just picked the body up from paint this morning (looks amazing!!)
-started painting the seat (cheap option)
-finished all painting of trim and odds and ends

i'm hoping to start putting the body on tonight, and try to put up some new pics also tonight...

^^^^ i agree! the pics were just garbage taken at night from my dark garage. it's pouring in Pittsburgh so i'm hoping to get it outside tomorrow and get some decent pics.

one question i have is now that i have doubled the leafs for strength the cart doesn't seem as low in the front. what should i do? i bought a new set of HD springs and took the long one out and matched it with the stock long one. It took away the bounce of the cart but also raised it more than i hoped. Should i try running the new HD spring by itself? or just leave it alone since the cart is 90% done??

I am running just the single leaf on the front and rear.

it isn't too bouncy? i've decided to take the front end apart again and try running just the heavy duty leaf by itself and pray that it's not bouncy like running a single stock leaf.

i thought i did myself a favor by buying the HD leafs but it turns out they are most likely the reason that it's not as low as i would like. Hopefully switching will help

It's not bouncy at all. What shocks are you using?
