Nikki carb replacement 2008 Club Car problem
I just bought an FE290 carburetor to replace the Nikki FE290 carb on my wife's 2008 Club Car. It says it's good to use for 1998 thru 2018.
I found out the replacement needs an external throttle return spring unlike the nikki carb which has the spring built in on the carb body. The carb works great but runs wide open with no return, not good! Can I just buy a throttle return spring and the throttle return spring bracket? Is there any reason that wouldn't work? Any suggestions? |
