New QuieTech , how do you like?

How do you like your new Yamaha QuieTech ?
Are they as quiet as advertised?
How fast does yours go?
I live in a 55+ community and it will only be used on the street .
A few years ago I test drove a 2008 gas Yamaha and I didn't like the noise.
I went with electric but now I'm tired of monkeying with batteries.

We love our QUIET 2018. You will be happy.

I don't own one but we rented one on Bonaire. I'd say it's a good sign that they use Yamaha's and the new quiet ones in their rental fleet. Surviving in a windy, sandy & salty rental environment has to be hard on equipment. I immediately had to take a look at the huge access panel in the bag area. Much better access than our G16.

My wife and I loved driving the machine. It's ride and handling was a very noticeable step up from our G16. Then there was the engine noise or I should say the lack of noise. We literally drove for hours on end and loved it.

Pretty happy with ours. It’s not as quiet as a electric accelerating but at speed on flat ground it’s exceptionally quiet... probably very close to electric.
