EZGO Charging receptacle overheating / burned
I recently lost power to my cart. I opened the top of the charging receptacle to find the + side of receptacle almost completely burned. See attached photo. It’s also worth noting that in the past few months I have noticed a white “foam” substance that formed on the - post of receptacle for plug.
Any ideas what caused this and how to fix?? Thank you!! |

Re: EZGO Charging receptacle overheating / burned
I should also note that I have been smelling a slight burned smell when batteries charge.

Re: EZGO Charging receptacle overheating / burned
Figured out the problem. Needed to adjust batt charger to new battery brand.
