2010 Yamaha G29 | Electrical Issues
I’m back, back again. I have read countless threads about a multitude of different issues in the Yamaha G29. I can’t put my finger on it. The cart is a 2010 Yamaha G29 48V. Batteries are testing around 8v on each, and replaced the solenoid on Saturday. 50.7v through the solenoid and into the controller, but still no change. The solenoid has started clicking upon the start of the cart. I saw a thread about fixing the Stop Switch, and when I was in the process of doing that this evening, I heard a “bang, clank, ding” and looked down; the spring, bearing, and seat for the bearing are somewhere in my garage. Under boxes, lawnmowers, other golf carts, wheels, etc.
😮 I have a new one on the way already. $50 out of my pocket, oh how exciting! I need help diagnosing the real issue, and what parts to buy to fix it. The plan was to build this cart by the end of October, but with paint, seats, etc. it’s not looking like it will be. I could really use the smart minds of everyone on here to get my project back on track. Thanks in advance. |
